    My advice is keep your trading life simple ..... setting a maximum of 10 stocks will provide plenty of diversity for a basic portfolio .... then consider dividing your capital by 10 .... ie. don't put more than 10% of capital into any 1 stock ...... this will help control position size. Good luck
