Reading back through past announcements HIL had a lot riding on this transaction going ahead - not the least was to use part of the proceeds to reduce debt. One wonders whether this debt reduction was a condition of their debt restructuring program?
That aside, I reckon HIL are going to report quite a nasty loss for the first half.
