Looking forward for the next in-depth update from Allomak. The updated news/media section on their website is starting to tell a bit of a story that you don't get when reading the old broker reports they've also got on their website.
The potential licensing of an air filtering technology around the world is not yet earnings significant but could have a big payoff.
The other story which seems to be still evolving is the potential in emissions testing and LP Gas conversion. In May, LP Gas 1 launched their fuel solution that blends LP Gas with diesel and can produce up to 15% fuel savings along with reduced vehicle emissions. If you combine fuel savings with the 18.51 cents a litre fuel rebate (which the company can also provide compliance tests for) then you are talking about big savings for large trucks. One point to note is that they're making use of the dyno business technology in the emissions area - nice that the sum of these acquired businesses is more than the parts.

The 6th and 17th June media releases make for interesting reading:
- "LP GAS 1, Emmission services and dyno dynamics have showcased their innovations in countries such as these recently" referring to China, India and Korea's interest in environmental capabilty in the automotive sector.
- the new Diesel Test and Emission Services Manager has experience exporting automotive technology to Asia - he speaks Japanese as a result of living and working in Japanese technical centres.

There's plenty of opportunities for these guys whilst the share price has little currency for further acquisitions. They seem to be building a management team capable of capitalising on opportunites that arise. Maybe the big payoffs for this company might come from an area least expected, meantime I'm happy to collect some nice dividends from the acquiried cashcows.
