I don't think you will see that happen. Symbio came before MNF and has other very large clients as well as MNF.

MNF structure/relationship with Symbio has more advantages than disadvantages frankly, if a VOIP competitor or ISP were to takeover MNF they would only really want the client base anyway. If a non-tech launched a takoever they would of course require backend and would be in the position of being able to shop that around. I reckon Freshtel would just about beat any other backend supplier in town at the moment for example! They have the infrastructure but have no clients using it. My God they are a hopeless case, don't get me started on them!

MNF owns its 65,000 client base that will genrate $10M in revenue in FY09, that is what you would be buying, unfamiliar or unwanted backend is surely of little value?
