I personally expected a better bid than $1.75. Having said that, I am very happy with this bid from Merck. It has at least put a bottom to the stock. And can't blame Merck for trying it on. If there is no counter bid, Merck gets a real bargain. And if there is a counter bid, then we shareholders will benefit even more. All in all, a very good outcome considering the alternative of no bid at all.

Here is hoping there will be a counter bid.
