Correct me if I'm wrong but I always thought that it wasn't a case of choosing verticals over horizontals for AOK. It is my understanding that they can do both. Verticals first to confirm the existence of the Mississippian formation and to identify prospective areas followed by horizontals once they have the expertise and funds.
