The US will pull back from the middle east in exchange for a free reign in Venezuela.
Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world and will be much easier and cheaper to manipulate than the middle east.
There is no such thing as loyalty, only national interests.
This is a plan which has been formulated for some time and began with the sanctions which basically collapsed the Venezuelan economy and turned it into a basket case.
