Well Colombia was added as part of Nato in 2017/18, so the plan has been hatched for a long time with access to their military bases and airfields. I suspect the massive boost in military spending was also part of the next front for the war machine in advance. The US already have their lame Casus belli to justify their next invasion with the typical security treat issues and freezing of national assets. The propaganda machine is singing nicely too via big lie media.
