Certainly if they can achieve this, it wold be a game changer, work on room temp superconductivity has been on-going for decades, and other than graphene there is another 2-d material that may have properties better suited to this application - stanene. https://www6.slac.stanford.edu/news/2013-11-21-tin-super-material-stanene.aspx - perhaps we should look in to some tin miners
