Yes it would be cheaper to build one plant but I would say there is a snowflakes chance in hell of that happening. The energy requirements for these mines is very large. This IMO is where a JV could possibly be a win win if they both kicked in $$ for a gas pipeline they would both have energy security. TMT option of trucking in gas is not ideal, and IMO, much much more expensive than their numbers suggest.

A gas line would benefit everyone long term. Aimo DB
