The person claiming no effect need not provide proof because the onus for that rests with the person who claims the opposite. Recently gabba provided proof of someone capping the sp with a sell order and steadily amending the order to reduce the sell price one pip at a time.this person has brought down their sell price from 4.1 to 3.9 but hasn't sold a single share from that order. But heres 2 things to consider
1. Can a retail investor place tens of orders for the sale of single digit (volume) shares at regular intervals?
2.can a retail investor buy millions of shares at auction and actually influence the sp after the days trading has ended?
Tens of Millions of shares will change hands here once the good news flows but those trades too will be determined by traders for the fact that they trade on margins on not on full cash price(t+2).
And lastly i myself bought a few million (3+) shares of avl after reading a post by a person with a "happy" disposition posted on another thread who was later banned from HC.i owe him big time.i did my own research and took the plunge over the course of 3 weeks in November/December 2017.
