Thumbs up for this good read from this Argus media.
While noticing spot rebar price is down what’s more indicative is what the rebar futures price is. Latest price with the Q4 Chinese economic data our today has rebar futures for June 2019 up 2% , with the trend up since early December.
Another interesting point was the comment again that vanadium- nitrate is seen as a very good alternative to flake and ferrovanadium products in the manufacture of rebar and it’s a lot cheaper for the mills.
