I suspect it is related to the brokers handling the upcoming IPO ...???
It would not appear to be in their interest seeing AEE blatantly taking advantage of its 70% controlling interest in the proposed IPO? Maybe also driving would be AEE investors to acquire AEE shares at such an attractive price point (ie double dipping or double play) ?
Interesting theory but we can’t prove it unfortunately....
