    When researching carnotite and uranium, I came across a CSIRO study on WA resources with a similar profile. See pages 6-7 here:

    Basically, it is saying uranium extraction is not economically feasible. But this document is from 2011 and is from an Australian perspective.

    An earlier IAEA document, 1984, says carnotite is economically important and cites costs at USD80/kg, within the ball-park of PDN but substantially higher than AEE. See:
