I read it as uranium cannot be processed in conjunction with other metals. It depends on the definition of "process". Note the writer did not say "extracted". So if ore is being processed, and all metals are being extracted, bar uranium, then it seems logical, the waste product would have a higher level of U than when it was in the ground.
Like you mention re: the misadventure from a previous mine, imo, the OS&H precautions may be cost prohibitive, even allowing for a granting of the license. I also think the environmental approval process will be lengthy and the local NIMBY's will attempt to disrupt. This is just guess work on my behalf. Sweden has taken an anti-U stance. V miners in other jurisdictions do not have this issue.
None of this is not to say the IPO cannot be successful. It can probably be pumped off the back of the current V/Battery Metals story. The words from the company are aligned with this story.
