Wow - on holiday so late to this really-5h1tty-party but my gut tells me this is related to the notice of the 1st April and they are trying to ditch payments.

My biggest concern reading the announcement was the "..possible violations of law and regulation..." bit. You do NOT put that in writing unless you know it to be 100% fact so they are slamming the door shut hard.

If it related to any contract failures it would have to be announced as material and would involve financial loss so it can only relate to the manner in which operations have been undertaken.
