asf ... don't think its a lockdown, probably more a total indifference from the market.

The market simply wants to know
    a) if TXN + RBS corporate can sell the EFS acerages
    b) when &
    c) for how much.

Looks to me that until the company provides some direction on those points that the SP will at best languish and if non is given probably errode.

Perfect example is yesterday's drill results. Great result for 5 out of 5, nice flow ... market didn't even take a second look at it.

Recent queries to John have been forwarded to Cliff. And Cliff has responded with the appropriate (but somewhat frustrating) response of "I am not currently able to provide any further update in respect of the proposed sale of the company's Eagle Ford assets beyond what we said in the announcement to ASX on 28 June 2012"

RBS corporate's standard line has been that a deal of any type takes time and that there is a lot of pressure in a deal this "public". But they are dealing with a beast of their own creation plus I'd have thought that's why they get paid the big bucks = Harden up princeses.

Maybe all this secret squirrel stuff is in the shareholders' interests in that it might eventually translate to a higher transaction price?!?!?! But whatever games they're playing are getting old.

I've been a TXN fan for a long .... long time and over that time management have done a great job finding and proving up these properties. But the market desperately want to know what is going on.

Hence I don't think its unreasonable to say to John Armstrong and Rob Douglas ...

Gentlemen - its time to fish or cut bait.
