No doubt, TXN will come through with excellent asset sale results, but its annual meeting event does remind us that some leaders create a reality distortion field (whether intended or not).
Great info here on Walters et al's prediction of an August sale. I read RichE's post on this earlier this week, and appreciated the emphasis on patience to get a good price for EF.
I'm still guessing that those share option clauses presented at the annual meeting (but not in any ASX reports I read) motivate TXN's leaders to sell after 1st September. But the clause language is ambiguous enough that I could be very wrong -- just as my 15 June estimated sale date was a bit off. :-}
