i think the following is true:
1 mt of soil contains 17% of ore
the fe quality is indicated by grade. we have a fe grade of 70% which is very good. another way to look at it is that there are on 30% impurities in the fe we produce.
i also understand 70% (generally the norm in australia) is about as good as you can expect.
