Ooooh, this is embarrassing! 17% of 17mt of soil would not be 1mt of ore.... that wasnt a logic error, rather a calculation error (or brain implosion and the only excuse i have is that i am in sweden and wrote that before my morning coffee... not a good excuse is it!).

what i was trying to say was for every mt or ore dug up and processed we yield 170kg or ore ie 17%. So to get 1mt of ore, we would need to process 5.9mt of soil.

ok, i get the feeling if we were in a room listening to me stuff this up you all would have thrown staplers at me by now so im going to crawl back into the hole from whence i came.
