Playr on instagram is building its # of followers quite successfully (hopefully the followers are not fake!). We've got 'fake news' these days, so, who knows if we have 'fake followers'? I have monitored the Instagram following frequently and it's adding between 50-100 followers per day, a healthy steady growth in following since its launch. Within 2 weeks time, we should see Playr followers will start exceeding Playertek on Instagram.

The company was quite clear in terms of their prosumer offering that they will want to transition to Playr over the course of FY19 and will want to phase out Playertek. Obviously, they'll have to wait for sales to build up for Playr and when it's on par with Playertek, that's probably when the company will stop producing Playertek and start moving all manufacturing to Playr. Interestingly though, Playertek+ as a brand is probably going to continue to be the cheaper offering they give to professionals then? Seems that they've added more professional features to Playertek+. Why start Playertek+ when you are phasing out Playertek? How do people transition from Prosumer Device to "Professional Device"? Is Playertek+ going to be another 'in between' Playr and Catapult main products?
