GoT have been indicating they are open for business, which is a great outcome, however to attract the financing into Tanzania there are more sharp, pointed and 1 very specific change they really need to implement or modify.
The international court of arbitration clause being only done within Tanzania is the core hurdle from a financiers point of view.
Now keep in mind this applies to everyone, not just WKT.
It also APPLIES to all the EXISTING mining operations today regardless of how long they have been operating in Tanzania.
If the GoT relaxed this issue in the form of waiver for as long as the debt period is required for finance, this project would have money being thrown at it left right and centre on very attractive terms.
If the GoT amended the act to strike out the most problematic clause and re-enable the international arbitration to be done outside of Tanzania, then Tanzania would see an incredible boom that would come with the flood of international money.
TB does indeed have a far more difficult role than everyone actually realises with this specific clause that IMO needs to be relaxed, modified and amended by GoT to actually encourage confidence to financiers.
IMO it will change in time and ATM it is not stopping investments, its over complications is just slowing them right down.
The WKT HC forum has many shareholders and non shareholders who view and don't post and I do know we have other G play investors peaking over the fence : )
I personally put that down to Graphite being a complicated investment to understand and wrap your head around the intricacies of flake size distribution, purities, recover rates, basket prices, applications and end user markets etc etc.
I have cold called quite a number of brokers last year (anonymously) and pretty much they have no idea as they don't understand the graphite market and the aspects alluded to above. They know their Gold, Silver, Nickel, Copper, Cobalt and Lithium etc - but FAIL on the Graphite side. (Just the way it is for now).
The ones that do understand are focused on battery grade and not the expandable market.
Hence my research has been very extensive and thorough in order to understand and comprehend my investment into WKT. I see the amazing wealth creator WKT will be hence my passion for the fundamentals of the company and obviously the shareholder network focus that has come about.
Shareholders need to be educated, engaged and included as that IMO is where we need to start in order to have the word spread on Graphite. Even the journalists don't report on Graphite when they talk about the EV battery sector.
HELLO WORLD!
No Graphite = No Battery.
Just demonstrates the immediate massive global ignorance we face as Graphite Investors.
Graphene I believe is what will eventually wake up the world and bring Graphite the attention it deserves.
Happy to be providing the facts as I know them and I am aware that this has provided a layer of comfort and confidence in shareholders with their holdings in WKT, and I have had many wives in on phone conversations giving ticks of approval. : ))
We are the forward thinkers today and as such we as the early birds will get the largest reward : ))

On a side note - Happy to report we have a new addition to the T40 family born a couple days ago.
We wont out him because he will need all the sleep he can get LOL - Congratz
