I have to admit I am quite annoyed at the distinct lack of recent news on the UK acquisition.

26/6/09 KEY announced the purchase subject to due diligence and regulatory approval with an expectation that the purchase would be finalised within 45 days (note no mention whether they meant working days or calendar days)

15/7/09 KEY announced that due diligence was progressing well and expected it would be completed well within the previously announced 45 days and Ken stated:

“Throughout the coming weeks we will issue further updates on this important transaction for Key Petroleum” Mr. Russell said.

31/7/09 KEY announced that due diligence continues to progress well with completion of the process due over the next week

7/8/09 no news on the UK purchase

14/8/09 no news on the UK purchase!

21/8/09 no news on the UK purchase!!

28/8/09 (end of the 45 days if based on working days) and still no news on the UK purchase!!!
