I think you are dreaming. Isis took on the US and Russia and Syria and lasted for a long time.
I think you hold the US capabilities a tad too high imo and its not just the US there it is Australia and the UK is in there as well with its aircraft.
Syria is also not alone Russia is there.
Because the US puts out a lot of Hollywood movies about its capabilities and the war there does not make it so.
