Guess we all have to hope the Saudis are reading Eshmun's posts - it's not in their interests to cause GFC2. Personally I believe this has been a one year OPEC policy to curb the excesses of US shale, not to kill off the more viable projects. US ambitions were only ever to be oil self-sufficient, there is no notion of exporting, so never really ever likely to threaten OPEC's global market cartel dominance. I think the 2015 policy has done the job, we'll see if this 4/12 OPEC meeting changes the tune...
