If I had asked, a few years ago, if the management/directors would artificially inflate the price of an asset purchased, so as to pay themselves bonuses, would I have been hounded down as a conspiracy theorist?

Probably.

And I'd have been told to 'calm down'.

Could any of the following be possible;

1) Are the Chinese already stealing our IP?
2) Is the IP not really worth what they say it is?
3) Are the management/board totally incompetent and can't get the IP up and running and make some money from it?
