I wonder if the "next-to-no combat capability" comes from the same wanker who sank the Bushmaster APC which was winning tender for supply to the US miliatry by shifting the goal posts when they relised there own was not going to win the contracts? Combat capability is from weapons systems more than the weapons platform. The report does mention this when it states "be better-armed than the existing designs." The ship is not the issue, It does what it is designed to do.
