Reading through Leasx's docs,
Fort Collins signed up NEA for two years at $16k pa and justify it by saying last time we hired someone to do aerial imagery was 2013 and it cost $100k for weaker definition and is now way out of date. Now we get access to rest of USA too.
One is using NEA ~$10k (from memory) and Pictometry for obliques ~$125k "Y5" (possibly means is a five year contract?)

I can see that NearMaps will spread like wild fire through the USA Councils.
