It's been going on for years. Forced conscription, ethnic cleansing, murder, extortion, forced Kurdish education and hatred of non-Kurds. Most are itching to overthrow the Kurds and are waiting for the green light from Damascus and many of the local Kurds want to negotiate knowing the blowback will be massive. Even the local US soldiers are trying to tell the Kurds to make a deal with the Syrian government before it’s too late. Most of the Kurds are loyal or neural to the Syrian government but the evil being committed is done mostly by the US trained, supplied and directed Kurdish police force. A big bunch of evil thugs that attack innocents and kill and detain anyone who protests their iron rule. Their have been a number of clashed where they have ambushed Syrian forces recently so you know the US is behind this. They especially hate Christians and Assyrians.
