Hey Birdman, one thing that I have noticed in your USA flight postings is that, compared to Australian flight postings), USA pilots are somewhat poorer in keeping steady altitude, poorer in keeping steady velocity, much poorer in flight pattern (ie straight parallel legs with neat semi-circular connection between the legs). NEA software can dealt with this reasonably so no big worry. However I am interested in whether others see the same differences. As for reason, I am currently assuming that it is because these USA pilots are new to survey flying, whereas most Au pilots used by Nearmap would probably have been doing this for the company for some time and have developed skills and precision. Any comments?
