Agreed re: transport. I have mentioned this before as in there are significant compliance considerations as per IAEA requirements.

The response talked about existing ports and flat ground. Ok.... this is fine for bulk transport which exists for Mauritania. But transportation of yellowcake is a little more complicated. Look at Yeelirrie as an example.
Re Water. Yep; it is a desert. PDN had big issues too back in the day.
