Evening all - This water “issue” that is being pushed about on here.

I took the time and sent Peter an email asking if he could better explain what was going on with the water supply.

Peter reminded me of comments Aura had previously made in reports, releases and presentations. 2 Screenshots are below from these presentations - which can easily be found  on the Aura website.

For those of you not fully up to speed - The initial water review by Golders - a few years ago -highlighted that there was “plentiful supplies”of water in the local area of the plant site.

He explained in the email about the Taoudeni Basin - and I quote:

“This basin is equivalent to Australia's Great Artesian Basin and the iron ore miners do, and Glencores Askaf project was to, pump 200kms from this basin in quantities vastly exceeding what we need.

We took the decision to start drilling there simply because we thought quality and quantity would be covered in one hit. Also the contractor was not great but we still had quite good success. But when we saw the cost of get the costs of piping and pumps from there we though the costs were too high for our project so then decided to go for a more localised program. All very logical and really about optimising capital

I can be categoric....I have no concerns regarding water, it is just we want to find the best outcome for the project.”
