Thanks for that article but I don’t see any convincing details besides supply taken out due to uneconomic reason. The spot price reacting will be the short term burst but at this spot price, juniors are far from convincing fundies to part $$ for their aspirations.

You will be aware that South Oz has decided to let Sonnen occupy the Holden buildings to manufacture domestic battery packs. Symbiotic process to their dependence on solar/wind state generating source.

I was an early investor in U way before GFC. My very new venture into stock market. Price went exponential. Now having seen what that can do to those fortunate enough, I can also see it’s destructive powers post Fukushima unfortunately.

That article narrative was all about when the LT contracts anticipated to expire soon will get the new deals going through artificially manipulating the spot by supply removal. I’m not sure where all that demand is coming from with a long project delivery life cycle of ant N plants. The minute Cameco and Kazakhs sees a sustainable economic spot price, they will just fire up those additional supply.

Meanwhile earthquake in Japan is a yearly occurrence just to remind the public on a Fukushima style disaster. They survived another meltdown recently on a closed N Plant with backup power.

Unfortunately they are a few more cleaner and safer ways to enhance energy capture. Good luck. I have recently invested in coal.
