Interesting. We knew ERA was only milling stockpiles and not mining already. ERA qtrly report shows the volumes still being extracted with a top down approach meaning the output will decline and probably rabidly Dec 2018 "Area Closure feasibility study update " showed $413 million cash including 75million held by the Government in trust for the rehabilitation) With significantly increased expected shut down costs of $808 million. With out funding they are effectively bankrupt? Final shut down report due this qtr.
One cavet is possibly the U price. Ranger is in care and maintenance. Not likely to get or seek the approval for the underground option they had considered. A U price 100,200 or 300% higher might see that in a new light. Amazing how a big bucket load of cash on offer might change prior iron clad decisions
What is really of interest is the long term customer(s) of ERA who have to be considering longer term than the few years of declining resources has left stockpiled.
