"But back to Vocus, and another theory doing the rounds yesterday was that KKR might also have its eye on dark fibre operator Superloop in its Vocus play. Vocus and Superloop are both looking to build a Perth to Singapore submarine cable later this year.
Putting Vocus and Superloop together would allow both firms to optimise domestic fibre routes and would also extend the Vocus footprint to wireless."
