Most posters have ruled out NST involvement as a cornerstone investor or JV partner, on the basis that they are a gold miner and that a bigger involvement in VXR would be a distraction from their core business.
I'm not so sure it should be ruled out. NST has been a VXR shareholder for a long while, has a healthy cash balance and are perhaps ready for (a relatively small amount of) diversification in a quality resource in a safe jurisdiction. Also, Bill Beaumont (NST Managing Director and founder) is a non-executive director of Precision Funds Management, which has a sizable investment in VXR.
Regardless, IMO, confident this will be financed. It's just a question of how much dilution.
