The prospect of getting some gold out of the tailings dam to create some form of revenue and that after the extremely long saga of getting approvals for cyclone it is actually heading in the right direction.
I like that mineral sands as a sector has performed well as mentioned.
Now I don't know enough as to exactly why Iluka has stopped production in the mentioned mine, demand and prices perhaps a factor?
However given the percentage mentioned that they can supply and now isn't in supply maybe that can help demand rise and prices.
I am not sure whether any of the mineral sands miners you are familiar with have picked up that slack?
Although it's been at a snails pace it keeps me interested.
Also when the last announcement and after the CR there were quite high volumes being traded so there are people watching.
I realise a lot may have been taking a profit or getting the hell out, but there were still buyers.
As to your question the other day regarding " a quick profit " if news does come and some buyers do reappear, no doubt I would selling down but I may still keep some in the pot just to see how it plays out.
