Our hearing with the presence of David Gubbay and Chun Kei Leung and myself concluded on 2 Nov 2017. We dominated the most of the time, making oral submissions and attacking the KPMG report. At the end, Black J specifically asked for evidence of Birketu/Illyria offer, which was so critical to show there should be indication of value of Ten Network shares. Birketu's lawyer had provided us with confirmation of the validity of Birketu/Illyria propsal the day before the hearing. Despite the pressing for order from Korda Mentha's SC at the conclusion of the two and half day hearing, Black J indicated the decision could take one or two weeks to be handed down. With fingers crossed!
