It seems that Kirk Roberts was Carbon Planets client, and was i suppose while the m2m/C Planet agreement was being sorted, and would still have been (i'm guessing) once the merger was completed.
It seemed to me and no doubt many others that m2m jumped the gun, in signing up Nupan(Kirk,"The Wild Colonial Boy" Roberts)while the merger/takeover was being sorted..... the thinking being that their may be some noses out of joint, at the time or if the C/PL deal fell through.
With whats at stake potentially,we can only assume what may've happened in the interim, but it seems Carbon Planet's disappointed somewhat that the deal didn't go through with m2m,and along with that they lost their cockfighting entrepeneur.
If you go back through the anns, at one stage the news was that Carbon Planet had millions upon millions of voluntary credits up there sleeve, then next thing you know we have them through our forest developer.
If they're the same lot of credits,i can understand why certain parties might not be getting on...but we don't know the full story as to why it didn't happen full stop, and i found out it's pointless trying to find out.
I don't think it's a rumour Kiwidub as that news is actually on Kirks website Carbonowontok. I'm assuming he put it there himself, and as Belombre pointed out," in no uncertain terms".......
Be interesting to see how Carbon Planet perform when they list, which they say could be this year.
