From today's NT News: (yesterday's reports were a little unclear and not as negative as I first perceived- apologies)

THE Territory Government is poised to lift its fracking moratorium next year following the release of the NT fracking inquiry’s draft final report.

The report contains 120 recommendations that panel chairwoman Rachel Pepper said would mitigate the risks associated with fracking to “acceptable levels”.

But it will take up to three years for onshore gas production to begin in earnest in the NT.
