conservation, while noble doesn't necessarily bring results for shareholders. ask yowie. ask greenpeace. ask any conservation foundation.
educating kids, yes that sounds nice. but have you seen what kids are into these days? it's a whole different message.
yowie as a brand has some value, i just think their current mix probably won't be sustainable.
what attracts me about yowie, is the actual real estate within the shell.
get that right, you're on a winner.
but trying to sell conservation and educate kids, it's a tough sell.
turn the inside into some super-charged yowie superhero action fighting figurine yada yada yada, and the kids might turn this nostalgic fad into something relevant for the modern era.
we are in 2018, not in 1997, the game has changed.
