No way Jose` to your non-use of franking credits idea.
Some or most of us have taxable income to offset as do everyday Aussies in superfunds with Super invested in Australian share indices.
Why would the company not impute, to the shareholders, credits for tax paid.
Also I don't see how APA can refuse to pay company tax on a portion of its profit to allow it to pay a higher dividend.
How does that work again?
