I have some sympathy for avemaria's position, but not the emotional response.

RC knocked on every door in his best suit seeking finance and was turned away by all. A low point. And MQC lobs in a bid - mainly after the $220m in tax losses held off-balance sheet. I think RC believed the position impossible - the BoD certainly thought so.

To characterise their position as 'lies' and get bitter is a little rich.

And ave, there is a lesson for you in this: trade your position! Be in. Be out. Average down. Ditch the expensive parcels. Without direct action one is a cork bobbing around at the mercy of wind and current.

Everyone knows CTP is a volatile stock. Buy and hold won't work. If that is your game-plan, use ETF's.
