management are probably paid heaps of dollars, as they work out jerk compliant shareholders - some shareholders will be in the proven category, some in the indicated category, and some in the inferred category.
director fees have to come from somewhere - and there is no real difference between mining shareholders, or a small gold deposit.. time and time again, mining shareholders, is the easiest option
