Company History SSM (formerly TCI) was established in Sydney in 1996 to provide a complete solution to the telecommunications industry, from site identification to site handover. A sister company to TCI was established in Oxford, UK in 1997 to service the deployment needs of the UK telecommunications industry. In 2001 TCI branched out to provide services for the wind power generation industry. In December 2004, TCI Australia listed on the ASX and changed its name to Service Stream Ltd (SSM) in January 2007.
Differentiating Factor SSM is focused on three fundamental sectors to drive its growth: Communications; Renewables; and Assets and Infrastructure. The company has targeted the wind energy and water recycling industries within its Renewable Energy business unit.
