wil is a solid investment stock. accumulate on mkt weakness / widening of discount. i'll go along with the new idea with of a bit of 'churning' and the fact wil can now add miners and oilees but as an overall weighting in the asx, wil is good enough for me.
all lic's and uk investment trusts cost more to run than the average jo bloggs realises but the saving of paperwork to us individuals and the safety of numbers with a good selection of stocks is imo not something to be too unhappy about.
core holdings for any individual's portfolio should have a few similar stocks. when discounts narrow it's the time to sell down or out and when they widen it's the time to reinvest / add.
ok, watch those fees but one cannot trade and switch alone without costs. wil, up to now has not churned but i'll be watching to see when it does and whether it adds to performance. it should do better, because no investment should be too inflexible.
i scoured the lic's before investing and compared them to many funds i'm familiar with. as a mainly ozzy asx investor, wil got high points.
at this point in time wil is not expensive one little bit.
be good,
40.
