Fair comment but maybe given the reasoning for the current halt that it is a possibility and I stress my opinion only that persons may of known of this pending announcement? The volume and price increase could of also been spurred as you suggest by the recent announcement and obviously traders jumping on board.
Hopefully for those who hold or bought today it's as it appears probably good news!
