Some of the large stocks don't necessarily make big profits. Newmont also has a problem in Indonesia as well.

I have Goldcorp Class C Warrants, can't complain at all.

Bruce, buying physical means that you don't have to know much about Gold stocks.
People who don't want more risk often select metal.

One needs to pick a gold stock no different than you pick an "ordinary" stock: there are good and bad ones.

If one has a good one then the profit can far exceed that obtained by holding metal.
