If a USA company gets involved then 2022-23 would be likely. If AVZ Chinese MOU partners involved I would say less than 18-24 months. Tinci might have pre organised and blue printed likely production facilities as they are one of the biggest electrolyte manufacturers globally. You've seen how quickly the Chinese can build things. Train lines, buildings etc.. at phenomenal speeds.
Can AVZ sell some DSO prior to production commencement like MIN or PLS? Interesting both parties stopped selling DSO rather quickly. I read on the Chinese platforms that Tinci wound up with DSO problems from the Pilbara and I bet they would balk at another round of F/U. Anyway time will tell on that front as to wether Tinci would go for DSO.
There are already small quantities of very high grade batteries being made in China
The production line is capable of producing 0.1 GWh solid-state batteries per year, which have an energy density of over 400 Wh/kg. http://www.xinhuanet.com/english/2018-11/20/c_137619309.htm
It is yet to be determined wether hydroxide will be used in the future and what direction taken.
