Reception at work is good. Then the same drive home. So I think that is probably a reasonable typical situation. If you spend any significant time in an area of poor reception (some of my fishing spots , then the battery drains much faster but this is the same for any mobile phone so not a fair criticism in my opinion. I find the battery drain is less than 1% per hour if the watch is left alone and just on standby ( screen off). Not sure why yours would be different, maybe different level of reception and maybe a bit to do with more regular location updates? Anyway, it’s good to hear you get through the day with a reasonable amount of charge left. I do agree that it’s best to recharge daily. I have to do the same with my IPhone so I don’t see it as an issue. Yes my IPhone gets more use but it also has a much larger battery so I can’t complain about the watch battery.

Two hours on and the battery still shows 94% after having it just sit untouched on standby. I’d assume the battery life reading won’t be overly accurate, but it seems a good result after 14 hours.
